Daniel grew up in the Dominican Republic and came to America when he was 29.  He played basketball and turned his athletic ability to SALSA! He grew up listening to Latino music but did not learn salsa dance until he came to America. He started dancing as a challenge to his workout and keep himself in good shape after a health scare.  Years later, people noticed his talent and suggested he teach. The rest is history!
